TOUR

Dear Gwenne,This is only a brief thank you from myself and on behalf of The Educational Alliance. The thank-yous are still coming in.
We were very fortunate to have you plan this pleasurable, exciting, and moving overnight stay in Cape May.
You left no stone unturned. I will be sending a small package of thank you notes from our members in about a week.
Again, my sincere thanks to both of you and I do look forward to visiting Cape May and staying at the Atlas Inn again.

Respectfully,
Fern Schwartz, Director

Hi,

I was very impressed with Gwenne!  She is good…very organized…very nice…always on top of everything!
Elaine’s dinner theatre was a blast- food was excellent!  Lots of fun!
Dolphin tour was very enjoyable…they loved it….trolley tour of the homes were great!
Boat house was very good and accommodating!  All positives…not one negative!  And as always, my guys and gals loved the boardwalk.

This was the first time that I stayed in Cape May and I will tell you that I really enjoyed it. This the first time I have been to an “All American Beach”.
It was like visiting a time capsule filled with American Pride, history, and lots of loving people.  I really enjoyed it there!

Thanks again!

Hello Gwenne,

I have wanted to write to you since we returned to thank you.
I have five trips coming up in next month and have been focusing on them.
Thank you for checking in with me.  You did a fantastic job in putting the trip together.
I know the time it takes just to set up itineraries and our schedule was delightful.
We enjoyed everything. The men even had a nice time.  We especially enjoyed the beautiful
rooms at the Atlas Inn and the Tea Luncheon.  The lady who did the fashion talk was absolutely
excellent.  She even held the men's attention and they really enjoyed it.  I don't think I would
want to come back to Cape May unless I knew someone like you was on the other end to help me.

Hope to see you again.

Blessings and thank you so much.

REUNION

Dear Gwenne,

On behalf of the Deptford High's Class of '66, please accept and relay our thanks and
appreciation to the COMPLETE staff of the Atlas Inn for providing us with a wonderful
reunion weekend November 3-5! Thanks to your help in all aspects of planning, from
publicizing the affair to handling the "last minute" reservations and special requests,
we enjoyed a great reunion and a wonderful weekend in Cape May.
Every facet of our
stay was marvelous--the staff was not only friendly, but super efficient and accommodating.
Every couple told me they were thrilled with the rooms, the meals, the service, and the
"what can we do for you" attitude of everyone at the Atlas Inn.
As the person supposedly
"in charge" of the reunion, I was amazed how every request (including some very special
and challenging requests) I made was immediately fulfilled beyond our expectations.
Some of my classmates can be pretty demanding, but the staff at the Atlas made
everyone feel special! It was truly a great weekend in every way, and the great atmosphere
and service we experienced at the Atlas Inn allowed us to enjoy "reuniting" more than ever!
Again, our sincere thanks! We don't have another reunion planned until 10 years from now,
but we're already thinking of excuses to return to the Atlas Inn for a group celebration as soon as possible!
Great Job!!!!!

Thanks for a great reunion! The pictures were as good as the icing on the cake! Which by
the way was excellent itself, as was all the food, heard no adverse comments all night. DJ
was great, gracious, and didn't blast you out of the place like some of them think they need
to do to put on a show. Thanks again to you and the crew for a great weekend on behalf of
the GHS Class of 1959, The committee, and Janet and me. lso for the photos for our records,
We had a Group Picture for all previous reunions although the first few were B&W,
and Pot Roast @Scillig's Black Horse Farms was $5.95 no weekends back then.ie 1964

RETREAT

Dear Gwenne:

Once again I would like to thank you for all your efforts in making our Women’s Retreat
Such a wonderful success.  The women of the Lord of Life are still talking about the wonderful
accommodations, food and activities that you arranged. It is hard to believe that with 32 women
there was not one snap in the itinerary or one disappointment. In ministry, we would call that a
real miracle! Most of all, you made my life so much easier by making appropriate suggestions
for our group and then carrying them through to completion.  All in all, it was a wonderful retreat
and we are certain you were placed in a position of leadership to make it all possible.

With Grateful Thanks,

SOCIAL WEEKEND

Dear Gwenne,

Thanks for your part in making the DVR-CCCA Cape May Weekend a success. Those
that attended had a wonderful time. They took special note of how well the Atlas Inn
accommodates a car club, where they could see their car from one side of their room,
and the ocean on the other! The hospitality suite you provided was very welcoming in
the way you had a place for everything including 2 refrigerators, and access to the ocean
view deck.

It was really nice of you to provide what was needed for the BBQ complete with chafing dishes!
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed Robert and friends' homemade food deliciously prepared and the
chance to be able to hang out in the hospitality suite, along with some mingling to the various
adjacent rooms, in order to have more camaraderie than a restaurant situation would have allowed.

I know that behind the scenes, you took the time to talk to Robert in advance, and show him the
layout so he would be properly prepared. It was kind of you to also have extra coolers should we
need them. You seem to think of everything!

Everyone enjoyed the day that you organized with the trolley tour of the Victorian houses and
the tour of the Physick Estate. Dan, our guide, was personable, and gave a very interesting talk.
He gave us all a chance to ask any questions, and made it fun. You were right that we would be
pleased with the Washington Inn also. It was elegant, relaxed, and the food excellent. The
ambiance seemed to go with the spirit of the whole tour.

I don't know if you could hear or sense through the airwaves, but I did acknowledge you to the
group for your extra efforts to accommodate us, and your infinite patience with my phone call
questions and e-mails. I will always appreciate what you did behind the scenes, for both the
group and for me. From terrific suggestions to formulate the package in the beginning, your
willingness to help all along including juggling special requests, to helping me get those final
information packages together – collated and stapled. You taught me something, too, about
how important the cover page is. What you put together made a big difference in the whole
presentation! Your help made the whole experience run smoothly for me, and I thank you!.
The Atlas Inn and WE are lucky to have you on our side!

Perhaps the best indicator of satisfaction for the event was revealed when several
attendees asked, “When are we doing this again? Sign me up!”

I hope that we do it again, next time with more attendees. I also think it’s likely
that other clubs will be interested in staying at the Atlas Inn after they hear the reports
come in.

For now, we just want you to know that your hard work and caring spirit is appreciated
by all of us. Thanks for helping us have a special memory to share.

All the best,
Gail, Howard, and the DVR-CCCA
